LO1 TASK 3

 - Big movie- more on social

1- New Line Cinemas 'Evil Dead Rise' uses its social media channels to market and advertise the movie to audiences using different black box devices. This benefits audiences as viewers who don't use scheduled television are able too see trailers for the movie meaning the marketing is able to reach a larger range of viewers. 

2- VOD ('Video On Demand') distribution via streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ allow audiences to stream a high range of audio-visual content at any time they want.

[BECKETT] LO2 Task 2: Job Roles in a Chosen Sector

 Graphic Designer

Practical and technical skills needed to become a graphic designer are; flexible teamworking skills, excellent communication skills, time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at once, accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs and effective networking skills among others. Creativity is a demand in graphic design as well as up-to-date knowledge of industry software.
Qualifications to have the best chance to become a graphic designer are; 3D design, film+TV, fine art, photography, fine art and graphic design.

[BECKETT] LO2, Task 3: Career Pathways

 Types of career pathways for graphic design:

- Independent: you can be a freelance graphic designer and get hired for one off jobs or start your own design agency. They are responsible for every aspect of their business, meaning they must posses more than just graphic deign skills. 

- Voluntary Sector: Non paid. Graphic designers would usually help out a charity and would help add to their portfolio of work. 

- Employment: Employment for graphic design working under an agency. Graphic design agencies are hired by outside clients to produce creative work. Agencies usually hire several graphic designers in order to staff various projects they are contracted to do. 

- Work based training: a course in graphic design to further improve your skills. (apprenticeships) 

- Further education: A degree in Graphic design at university to fully train yourself for the role. 

- Higher education: university

Experience in 3D design, film+TV, fine art, photography, fine art and graphic design will lead to success in the above career pathways as they are crucial in creating good designs that aren't basic. These skills can be gained from work based training, higher and further education pathways.
